1. Return of Swimathon Card
The school has returned some children's swimathon cards to me in order to return these cards back to your child and encourage them to fund raise one more time over this weekend. Do encourage your child to try harder to raise more money for the school...
Please also inform students that these cards are subject to audit. Therefore, it cannot be defaced, cancelled or use any correction tape or fluid on the card. If there are such marking, please ensure that there is a note/letter attached to the card with explanation, parent's signature and a contact number. Also to take note that you have to make a police report in the case of card lost. Sorry for the inconvenience caused and thank your very much for your support.
The next collection date of swimathon card is on Monday 23 Feb 2009. Please let your child bring the card together with the money to submit to me on Monday.
2. Chinese Lesson Progress and Update
I have finished teaching lesson 7 and we stopped at Hanyu Pinyin 'er'. Acitivity book 2A was completed until page 30. Hao Peng You magazine 7 was given to your child today and answers on page 6-8 were run through during CL lesson.
We also completed spelling test 2 on Thursday. These children managed to get full mark this round: Caitlin Low, Chiral Chia, Yingwei, Jieqi, Jarryl Ng, Jarryl Tsai, Jian Cheng, Russell Soh, Ethan Tan, Timothy and Weihan. Well done! Please sign on your child's spelling book and let him/her bring the spelling book on Monday. We will have our next spelling test 3 on coming Thursday. Please get your child prepared for it!
