Dear Parents,
This term is coming to the end. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation and support over the past half a year. I look forward to working more closely with you in the coming two terms after June holiday.
Some updates for this week are:
1. "汉语拼音我最行"-the booklet with the blue coversheet was marked and returned to your child. Kindly place it in the last pocket of your child's blue file.
2. Blue files and activity books were all returned last week. Remember to hand in blue file on Term 3 Week 1 Monday when school reopens.
3. Spelling books and apple report cards should be returned to me by now. If your child still hold his/hers, please keep it properly at home and returned to me on the first day of school reopen.
4. Your child should have Hao Peng You #1-#20. Please file for them if you have not done so. Let your child read them during June holidays.
5. Holiday Homework
(1) Follow Parent to Work Day Project - It is compulsory for your child to complete the "Occupation Awareness Booklet" given last week. It will be better if your child wants to present by using charts, pictures or powerpoint presentations besides the booklet. This project can be done in English or Chinese. Choose the language your child is comfortable with and stick to that language throughout the project.
(2) Chinese homework - Make a Chinese story book 制作小图书. You can view seven examples on my previous class blog: http://nypsclass2h.spaces.live.com/ under "Photos" link. Children can make up their own story or based on printed story books to draw and write the story on their own.
