Weekly Updates - Term 3 Week 10

Dear parents,

Term 3 has come to the end. I would like to bring your attention to the following things:

Chinese Lesson Updates:

1. Chinese Lesson progress

This week I didn't start to teach any new lessons, so we stopped at lesson 12. I have cleared all written work with children and returned the following things to them by today:
(1) Hao Peng You Magazines (till #29),
(2) Activity Book (till Lesson 12)
(3) Blue File with all practice paper placed in.
(4) Spelling book.
Please check your child's school bag to ensure you've seen all of his / her work done in school.

2. Chinese Test 4 (Lesson 9-12)

Please note the above test will be conducted on Term 4 Week 1 Thursday (17 Sept 2009). Please let your child revise during the one week holiday using the activity book, spelling book and blue file which were returned to them today. I will only collect back the activity book, spelling book and blue file on the test day (17 Sept, Thursday). Please make sure that your child will return all worksheets back to the correct pocket of the blue file and do NOT misplace any worksheet because the school will conduct file check in Term 4. Thank you for your cooperation.

3. Chinese Spelling 13

We've conducted Spelling 13 yesterday and the following children managed to score 100 this round: Chui Yingwei, Lam Yan Yee, Soh Liying, Jarryl Ng, Jarryl Tsai, Lim Gia Zhun, Low Jian Cheng and Yang Chang Jui. Well done! Please sign on the spelling book and make sure your child completes the correction.

Admin Matters:

1. Apple Cards have been given to your child today. Please check your child's progress. I am not going to collect back the apple card because we are going to issue Report Book instead of Apple Card at the end of Term 4. So, you can keep the Apple Card at home for good.

2. Next week is September School Holiday week. Do not let your child come to school. They deserve a good break.

3. Children's Day cum Lower Pri's Games Day is coming soon. We need four parent volunteers (PV) each class for this event (30 Sept) . If you can help out in this event and be the PV of 1F, please kindly show your interest by emailing me.
